uTTARAKHAND Tour Package
Uttarakhand Tour Package from Delhi — Mountains, Temples, Tigers, and Everything In Between
Haridwar · Rishikesh · Mussoorie · Nainital · Jim Corbett · Auli · Dehradun
Uttarakhand has this interesting quality — it somehow has exactly what every kind of traveller is looking for. Want to sit by the Ganga and watch the evening aarti? It’s there. Want to go spotting tigers before breakfast? Also there. Looking for a cool hill station getaway with your family or your partner? Take your pick. Want to ski down a Himalayan slope? That too.
It’s genuinely one of those states where you could plan five completely different trips and never repeat the same experience. And all of it is just 5–8 hours from Delhi — which makes it the go-to destination for anyone in the NCR who wants to get away without spending a week just getting there.
Here’s a breakdown of what each part of Uttarakhand offers, so you can figure out what actually suits your group.
What to Expect at Each Destination
Haridwar & Rishikesh — If You Want Something That Stays With You
These two towns sit along the Ganga, about 24 km apart, and they couldn’t be more different from city life. Haridwar is one of the holiest cities in the country — the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri at dusk, with lamps floating on the river and hundreds of people gathered on the ghats, is one of those things that genuinely moves people regardless of how religious they are. Rishikesh is more of a mix — yoga retreats, ashrams, the famous Laxman Jhula, white-water rafting, and cafes that feel like they belong in a different world. A 2–3 day trip here is great value for families wanting a meaningful short break. About 200–250 km from Delhi. Best time: September to March.
Mussoorie — The Classic Hill Station That Never Gets Old
If you’ve never been, go. If you’ve been before, you’ll go again. Mussoorie at 2,000 metres sits just above Dehradun and it’s genuinely accessible — proper roads, good hotels, manageable for families with kids or elderly grandparents. Mall Road, Kempty Falls, the viewpoint at Lal Tibba, the toy train feel of the town — it’s charming without trying too hard. A 3–4 day trip is ideal. About 290 km from Delhi. Best time: March to June and September to November.
Nainital — Built Around a Lake, Hard to Leave
Nainital is one of those places that looks exactly as beautiful as the photos suggest, which is rare. The natural lake in the centre of town, the cable car up to Snow View Point, the crisp air, the evening strolls along Mall Road — it’s a very easy place to relax in. Pairs well with Bhimtal or Corbett if you want to extend the trip. About 310 km from Delhi. Best time: March to June and October to November.
Jim Corbett National Park — Wake Up at 5am and Don’t Regret It
Corbett is India’s oldest national park and one of the best places in the country to spot a Bengal tiger in the wild. It also has leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and over 600 species of birds — so even if the tiger doesn’t show up (though they usually do), it’s still a full experience. Plan for at least 2 nights with morning and evening safari slots. We handle the forest permit coordination, which matters because bookings fill up fast in peak season. About 250 km from Delhi. Best time: November to June.
Auli — India’s Best Ski Slope, Also Beautiful in Summer
Auli doesn’t get the attention it deserves, probably because it requires a longer trip. But if you ski or snowboard, it’s the real deal — actual slopes, proper ski lifts, and Himalayan views that make every run feel cinematic. In summer, it turns into a high-altitude meadow with trekking routes and views of Nanda Devi. Typically a 5–7 day trip from Delhi, often combined with nearby Joshimath. About 500 km from Delhi. Best time: December to March for skiing; May to June for meadows.
Dehradun — Underrated, Honestly
Most people treat Dehradun as just a layover on the way to Mussoorie. But the city has its own charm — Robber’s Cave, Sahastradhara, the gorgeous Forest Research Institute campus, a relaxed food scene. If you’re planning a multi-destination Uttarakhand trip, Dehradun works brilliantly as a base. About 280 km from Delhi. Best time: year-round.

How We Cover All of This
First Fly Holiday runs private cab and tempo traveller services across every Uttarakhand route from Delhi — and we mean every route. Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Nainital, Corbett, Auli, Dehradun, and combinations of all of the above. We don’t put you in a shared bus or a group tour. Your vehicle, your group, your pace.
For groups of 8 or more, our 12-seater AC tempo traveller is almost always the most comfortable and economical choice. Our drivers know these routes properly — including the mountain stretches that can get tricky in off-peak seasons.
We also handle hotel recommendations and Corbett safari permit coordination on request, with no added consultation fees.
Things People Ask Before Booking
Can I combine multiple destinations in one Uttarakhand trip?
Absolutely, and most people should. Haridwar + Rishikesh + Mussoorie in 5 nights is one of our most popular combinations. Nainital + Corbett in 4 nights is another great one. We plan the route so you’re not constantly backtracking or wasting hours on the road.
Which destination works best if we have elderly family members?
Haridwar and Rishikesh are the most comfortable — flat ghats, good road access, no altitude issues. Mussoorie and Nainital are also fine by road with minimal walking. We’d suggest avoiding Auli and high-altitude routes for anyone with mobility concerns unless the trip is specifically planned around it.
What vehicle works best for a group of 10–12?
Our 12-seater AC tempo traveller is built for exactly this. Enough legroom, good luggage space, and suspension that actually handles mountain roads without feeling like you’re being shaken apart.
Do you handle Jim Corbett safari permits?
Yes. Safari permits for popular zones like Dhikala fill up 45–60 days in advance during peak season. Tell us your travel dates early and we’ll sort the bookings before they’re gone.
